My professional and academic background spans operational leadership, technology, hospitality management, legal research, and organisational analysis. Over the course of my career, I have worked across several industries in leadership, client-facing, and analytical roles, developing experience in team management, operational strategy, stakeholder communication, and complex problem-solving within fast-paced environments.

Alongside this professional experience, I completed an LLB (Hons) while working full-time and am currently pursuing postgraduate study focused on international human rights, artificial intelligence, surveillance, and emerging legal challenges surrounding technology and state power.

My earlier academic background in interactive media development introduced me to areas such as web development, JavaScript, and digital systems, which continue to influence my interest in the relationship between technology, governance, accountability, and law.

My background in technology and digital systems continues to shape my academic and professional interests, particularly in artificial intelligence, surveillance, governance, and the relationship between technology and state power.

Before my legal studies, I gained experience in web development, digital media, interactive systems, and online technologies. This earlier technical background provided insight into the ways digital infrastructure, communication systems, and emerging technologies influence modern society and organisational behaviour.

As my academic interests evolved towards law and human rights, these experiences naturally broadened into a broader interest in how legal systems respond to technological change, particularly regarding accountability, privacy, surveillance, artificial intelligence, and the exercise of state power.

Today, my work increasingly focuses on the intersection between law and technology, examining how emerging digital systems are reshaping public policy, security, governance, and international human rights in the modern world.
